While we still offer our traditional, Civis-hosted data storage solution, we wanted to bring the added flexibility of Flexible Cloud Storage to you so you can make an informed decision about how you want to store your data.
If you have a mature data ecosystem that is already centralized, this will allow you to start using Platform right away. You will incur data processing and storage costs associated with your own self-hosted data structure — costs that would otherwise be folded into your Platform subscription, so be cognizant of that caveat when considering Flexible Cloud Storage.
