Life before Civis: I previously worked at MITRE as a Lead Data Analyst supporting customers at the FAA, answering questions related to risk of runway operations. Previously, I worked as a Senior Engineer at Cogniac, a small computer vision startup in Silicon Valley, working on REST APIs and data integrations such as image processing.
Fun Fact: I am the middle of 5 children, and the only one of my siblings who does not work in healthcare.

Education: B.A. in Computer Science from Brandeis University
Life before Civis: I grew up in Chicago, moving out to Boston for undergrad. After returning to Chicago, I worked at various startups, most recently Wyzant, a marketplace for students to find tutors in a huge variety of subjects.
Fun Fact: I played drums, guitar and bass in a (pretty horrible) high school rock band, mostly playing alt-rock covers from bands like the Strokes and Radiohead.

Education: I received an AA of Computer Information Systems from Miami Dade College
Life before Civis: Originally from Miami, I worked with Northwestern University at a satellite campus for their school of business. Previously to Civis, I was working at Uptake.
Fun Fact: I have a dual citizenship, I have a passport for Colombia and the US. I'm also bilingual.

Life before Civis: Haley spent a year tutoring math in the Chicago public schools followed by a Product Design role at a early stage Matter startup called Below Your Belt
Fun Fact: Draws New Yorker style cartoons (that have yet to appear in the New Yorker), and can crack two eggs at a time.

Life before Civis: Went to graduate school, taught tennis, and worked as a summer camp counselor.
Fun Fact: Donated bone marrow to his sister when I was in 6th grade.

Life before Civis: Previously did research in particle physics, and then software engineering at GrubHub
Fun Fact: Has watched almost every episode of Good Eats at least three times

Life before Civis: Alexis previously worked in product management at Amazon, digital strategy for Funders Together to End Homelessness, and policy advocacy for the National Immigrant Justice Center.
Fun Fact: When not at work, Alexis spends her time on interior design projects for friends and family and with her dogs in local parks.
